  2. Quasar Staff [0/20/0/0|25] - 15 DTs I'll take this dear lady, thank you for your time and business!
  3. I wouldn't try to remove the driver manually if you don't know exactly how Clappy, it's not just the folder somewhere on C:\ drive, it's also your Windows System Registry entries that are tied to those files. Trying to manually remove every trace of the drivers from your computer is rather a real pain in the ass you'd not want to deal with IMHO if you can help it. This is why I recommend using a Driver Remover Utility program to automate all of that process for you and it can do it far more quickly. Here, try this, it's straight from AMD as well: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601 The AMD Catalyst is the entire driver suite Clappy, it's not just the drivers but also the "front end" that allows you to tweak, manage and even set individual setting for games installed on your computer, it also sits in your system tray. What brand is your Radeon RX580 btw? Mine is a Sapphire... If you're gonna install drivers from somewhere, that's where I'd start first, from the actual card manufacturer, not AMD's website. That's a measure of last resort IMHO.
  4. Targeting: When playing as a FO, look for the blue arrows to lock on a target when you get into adequate range, some techs like Megid or Grants will auto target, others like Rafoie or Razonde hit a very wide radius of an area. With single targets as a RA or HU to aim a direct fire weapon, look for red arrows, use the left or right arrow keys to cycle through targets, lightly tap your arrow key to select the desired target. Ahhh Meseta... Your best bet is to try to catch a GM opening up a meseta room, there they will drop stacks of 999,999 meseta where you can load up your characters and banks. Sometimes they will use a GM TO ALL at the top of the screen to let everyone on the server know the room is being opened. Otherwise, pick up every bit of meseta you can see and try to hit every box you come across to build up your funds till then, maybe some more veteran players will drop you a stack or so of some meseta? Never hurts to ask, if you can find me in game I'll give you a few 100k of meseta to help get you going. Hope this helps, good luck!
  5. Hmmm strange indeed, I just got a Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX590 a week or so ago and haven't had any serious issues what you guys are describing. Granted, I have noticed a bit of slowdown in the seaside area, but I think I can tweak that out eventually. That area always gives people graphics problems... My humble suggestion gents, remove your graphics drivers, COMPLETELY remove them via either RegEdit or a graphics driver cleaner program. Before you reboot, also go into the Windows Device Manager and remove the card manually there as well.(if hasn't been removed already after graphics driver removal) Reboot and install the latest video driver for your card from your appropriate manufacturer's support download section. I would NOT advise using the standard AMD Catalyst drivers, from AMD's website, as you may run into such issues again with them.(they seem to be rather general in operation, for AMD actual reference cards) If that does not work, then I'd look into the Catalyst Omega drivers. Oh, for what it's worth, I'm on a AMD Athlon X4 860k at 4Ghz with a ASUS Crossblade Ranger mobo and 32 gigs of DDR3, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Hope this helps, have hope my friends, the card will work with this game, I'm still playing it on mine.
  6. To be honest DarkMadDog21, the Canadian dollar has always typically been weaker than the US dollar when it comes to exchange rates. But I can't necessarily disagree with your liberal cucks assessment, liberal financial policy tends to eventually and ultimately bankrupt a nation.(and this is by design, so they can provide yet another "solution", wonderful communism! /sarc) Thanks for donating though! I'd tell you not to blow it all in one place, but that's kinda impossible here, as we all ultimately get "new digital toys" via donations here.
  7. Good call Kotta, that mini-menu is super helpful for fast-swapping weapons too.
  8. Retru, I think Psyduck314's referring to the in-game hotkeys and action palette. Hit F12, go to Customize, there you can assign items, techs and traps to your action palette. (hit CTRL to swap modifying between the two palettes) While in that function, you can go to all the available items, techs and traps and assign up to 10 to your hotkeys (1 thru 0, number keys on top row) by selecting the item/tech/trap and hitting that number key. Once all your assignments are made, just exit the Customize function via the ESC key. Hope this helps, good luck!
  9. MS Visual Studio is not needed to run this game, it does NOT run those libraries in order to work. This game is ANCIENT and originally ran on consoles, therefore no other codecs should be necessary to run it. I'd roll back your graphics driver or uninstall current driver/reinstall previous driver and see if it will start working again. Hope this helps, good luck!
  10. Dewd, if you stay here long enough, with 5x exp during events, you'll hit lvl 200 on your characters with not that much difficulty if you're diligent. Once you hit 130, you can do the CCA run on ultimate difficulty with other lvl 200 party members and take out Gal Gryphon for alot of exp which will help you jump levels all the way up to lvl 200. As far as an ideal party goes, I'd say you're more at the mercy of chance and who's online than anything else. There is no ideal party typically, or at best if you're part of a pretty established team, maybe then you'll get some semblance of an ideal party. As far as characters goes, play with whatever classes/races you think you might enjoy. Casts are always valued for sheer power/toughness, Humans for flexibility and accuracy, Newmans for their tech abilities and support. Hope this helps, good luck!
  11. Happy Birthday there Hot Rocket Tots!

Have a good one and don't do anything I wouldn't do bro... (which ain't sayin' much ha!)

      RocketTots

      thanks dood!

  12. Yea, I'd be depressed too if I couldn't motorboat h... Oh wait. Ahhh yea that's too bad man. You just need the right motivation, right, RIGHT?
  13. Have you ever used MAGATAMA Smoochum? That might help you take some of the guess work and keep from making any mistakes out of raising all those mags man. Hope this helps, good luck!
  14. While this is wholly your decision, personally I would only focus on a character's main stat. For RAs and HUs, that's POW mats for ATP, for FOs, it's MIND mats. (save FOmar/FOmarl, as they rely on POW as well for melee attacks) For all difficulties except Ultimate, defense is a priority. However the game changes towards evade in a BIG way when you hit up ultimate. The EVP on certain monsters is crazy, therefore you want more of it than DEF, but having a good balance is important IMHO. Again as others have stated, let your armor handle those stats, I'd try to find a good balance on your frame/armor and barrier selection when it comes to DEF/EVP. (high def armor/high evade shield or vice versa) However, some classes excel in defense better than others, namely RAcaseal. If you focus too much on defense or evade, your mind or ATP will suffer when you get to ultimate. Plan and choose wisely, therefore I'd refer to a mat plan for your character before I'd go eating mats on the fly. Hope this helps, good luck!
  15. I'm pretty certain those are disabled, I know exactly what you're referring to, I've tried to load that list for years. There is no continuity or association between respective episodes multi-player and single-player missions. They are meant to be played independently, only episodes in a respective episode have any continuity or association, i.e. completing a quest unlocks other quests in that episode ONLY.
  16. Welcome, hail and well met good sir!
  17. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE MWUAHAHAHAHAHAhahaha... *cough* *cough* *cough* I mean welcome back Hawk ole boi!
  18. That can be fixed, I have some armors and addslots Karasu. The other problems you're going to run into however is getting your mag to lvl 200, getting enough pow mats to raise your ATP, getting hit weapons and your ATA high enough to even hit the stupid high evade monsters of ultimate. Regardless, those things can be resolved over time and plenty of levels of course. But if you need some further help, holla at my Tri or Quad characters in-game in the lobby.
  19. Wooooo NEAT! I bought Tabletop Simulator a few months ago, I'll have to go do a search for this, thanks Hats 'ol Doom!
  20. *checks calender* Yeaaaaaaa, that's great R-78, you get right on those changes there mon cheri. Oh and happy April Fool's day to you too sweetheart. Thanks for all you do!
  21. I do know they keep backups of all the accounts Rapidz in case of emergencies,(not the first time Ultima has been hacked) but I doubt they have backups that far back... My humble suggestion is to get in touch with Soly and pray he's not too busy to investigate for you, again, good luck!
  22. Okay, stupid questions time: Do you have any family/friends/roommates who knew about your account/the game itself to "hijack" it? No offense, but hacking a completely random account, deleting/recreating characters, items with no evidence of the hacking seems rather dubious. Not saying it can't happen, but without evidence to support it, it's near impossible to trace, especially after a long time period of the said "hacking". I doubt Soly can give you any solid information on who, what or where, possibly save log in times and IP addresses, which can be spoofed. I do hope you can get whatever might be missing back, but that's not my call to make. If you do intend to continue playing here I'd urge you to secure your account(change the friggin' password, make it LONG & with symbols) and log-in info posthaste so that this can never happen again. Ultimately, your account's security rests solely in your own hands, live and learn man. Good luck!
  23. In short, until the cold day in hell Sega graciously releases the source code for PSOBB, I'm afraid your hopes and dreams of modeling for this game are sadly in vain. Sorry DarkMadDog21, but my humble suggestion is to just enjoy the game for what it is, we're quite fortunate we still get to play this and for free to boot. Other companies typically don't turn a blind eye to free private MMORPG servers like Sega has done here, they usually get slapped with a pretty quick legal cease and desist letter in such matters.
