Well since no one found Morfos or Barba Ray drops, or the v. hard drops... I may have edited something in the first post xD

Last year's items are not all on every ID. The drop tables from last year are not changed. Master sword is not available on every id. All nine new items are. I hope this clarifies the confusion.

I'll give you a freebie. Someone probably f**ked up and thought a Pyro Goran dropped it when it was really Merissa A. You were at least in the right area and it could have dropped (depending on the quest) while you were hunting the wrong enemy. To be clear, there are zero drops in this event from Pyro Goran from any ID. Feel free to mark confirmed Viridia Merissa A down.

For like the fifth time, search lost noob hp (in all possible spellings of the unit - n0ob noob no0b) and you'll see a constant list of people who say the unit was eaten by their banks. Soly is constantly recovering lost units for people. It never was supposed to boost hp. It even was nerfed to make it less of a boost. We should have just removed it entirely after the glitch was discovered a few years ago. Lower hp will in many cases keep you alive longer, as higher hp classes don't get knocked back and gryphon lightning, shambertin tornadoes, recobox, and other monsters will just wreck you if your hp is too high. It's one hit death instead of falling down. Even though we could have just fixed the glitch (turning it into the troll unit it was intended to be) everyone who had one gets a unit that's the strongest hp boost in the game. And if you bothered to look at other topics, you'd see we already are discussing ways of compensating the change, such as additional hp. You already can get more of a gain with four heart containers than noob hp offered, and if we boost it further, it will be even more extreme. (600 hp if we make them 150 each). We already have two other topics about this and don't need a third.

Direct from the rules posted in the forums, the relevant section is in bold and red: Trading To perform a trade, always prefer to use the Trade Window over dropping the items unless you encounter an error, in such a case remake your lobby and report the error to the staff. If you decide to not use the trade window, in the event of an error of any kind, we might not offer support to recover your items. You are forbidden of trading your PSOBB items for any 3rd party products or services not mentioned in these Terms except in an exceptional case approved by the staff, such cases are not general and only apply to the situation they were discussed and approved. You are allowed to trade your PSOBB items for items in another game or a platform (market) like Steam however we do not encourage nor support it. We cannot undo trades involving 3rd parties and we won't restore items lost during such trades. You are not allowed to trade items for currency in other games that is explicitly bought with real money, this includes steam funds, and anything similar in other games or platforms. You are not allowed to trade your PSOBB items for gift cards of any type like steam, skype, etc. If you fail to follow these rules we might take action against your account, this applies to the players on both sides of the trade. All of the new items are available on all IDs. Drop locations vary, but you can hunt all of the new items... once you know where to hunt.

Best is clearly Fire Rod, which larva describes as me having an orgasm for. Second best is Bomb-Chu. Two weapons in this event have model swaps thanks to orgodemir. And they're awesome. Worst? No Zanbacon style drops (red boxes everywhere).

Seriously how is Magic Hammer still not in your list? I've given an episode number in the original post. That's all you're getting from me for now.

The more obvious thing to mention is that it actually makes you die faster to use the glitch. Raising your HP prevents you from getting knocked back. There are many scenarios that this causes 1-hit death. (Shambertin tornadoes, Sinows pounding you, lightning at gryphon, recobox) It's why it's easier to solo Shambertin on a force or a ramarl instead of a racast (who dies easily from having too much HP).

It already does, and people are still upset. And we're still discussing adding even more HP. I still can't wrap my brain around the fact that people make a room, equip four noob HP, swap out all four units, and then play in every single room. Don't people in their team get bored waiting for this? I'm so confused. Anyway, hopefully making heart container better will make team mates happy that games can begin more quickly.

Noob hp was never supposed to give a health bonus. It was supposed to lower health as a joke. It has been exploited for a long time, and is constantly causing issues for people. (See the excessive number of lost noob hp topics here) Rather than removing the negative hp, we made it the top hp boost unit on the server. Anyone that had noob hp has gotten the unit heart container as a replacement. Due to complaints, we are considering: Increasing heart container to 150 hp (50 higher than heavenly hp, which is the best hp unit in vanilla pso) If there's a record of giving donation tickets for noob hp in trades, returning donation tickets to users to redeem or trade for other items. The above examples are not necessarily the outcome you can expect, but it is being discussed among staff. Noob hp will not be returning, but we will come up with a solution for existing players who have been exploiting this glitch. Please do not rant. Please do not flip out. Not everyone will be happy, but we will work to mitigate the abrupt change.

Just one random comment here... If anyone thinks greenill is an amazing ID this event, all of the new items are available on all IDs. Locations and ability to farm items vary based on which ID is hunting, but everything new this year is available regardless of ID. It's just surprising to me that green is finding more locations than other IDs.

Side note: Heart container is the highest HP boosting unit on the server. It's 30 HP higher than any vanilla PSO item. It's even higher than Centurion/HP, which we released just a few months ago (and is fairly uncommon). To act like we're screwing people out of a valued item (that was intended to be negative) when we replace it with something that has 130hp is misguided. It's been glitching out in people's banks for some time now. (Search lost noob/hp topics. There are tons.) We decided to replace it with something great that will not cause issues for players. It's unfortunate that people have been relying on the glitch, but you are able to raise your HP by up to 520 if you equip multiples of them. If you had them, you still have something of value that you can trade. It's far from being junk.

If people post pics, I'll add them to the main post. I do not post pics until people have found them (though magic hammer is on the ultima facebook page to announce the event).

Okay. Try just running the game at 640x480 (or whatever the lowest resolution is that you can get from the launcher). That will rule out what I think could be causing the crashing. If that works, pick a setting that is lower than what you're currently running, but higher than 640x480. Edit: Still crashes on 640x480?

That error... I got that on my monitor until I disabled scaling for psobb.exe. Open your PSO folder. Right click on psobb.exe. Go to the compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings." then click OK. (Click to zoom on image.) That crash can also happen if your resolution is set too high. Go to your launcher options and try a lower resolution. Sometimes that can help. Also, when starting the launcher, try right clicking and "Run as administrator." Sometimes that can help. If you're still getting errors, and cannot upload pics, you can use imgur, photobucket, or any other image hosting site. If you paste a link to an image (with the .jpg or .png extension), it will automatically embed it into your post.
