Nostalgia brings most of us here. I cut my teeth on the Xbox version and played the hell outta it. My main then (and now) was a Fonewm, dressed in familiar garb who could lay the smack down as well. In my effort to rebuild him and feel once again the special feeling that certain games that have that indefinable "it" provide, I have found a friendly, helpful and welcoming community here. So...I have completely outleveled my MAG. Not very good at raising them, but getting better since playing here. Anyhow... buying any kinda MAG that I can use to turn my pure mind focused Force Ive been leveling for the TP to a melee mage! Thwack! A level 100 (or so) Sato with ata and or def I can build up would be fantastic I think, but I will lean on you guys for advice on what would work. Got some PDs and a few decent items, feel free to reply here or pm me. Thanks gang!

@Fyrewolf5 I'm not sure your toons names, but I'm around quite a bit in the late evenings (eastern US). Hit me up sometime and/or check back here. I would love to set something up with perhaps an eye towards a regular type thang. (It DOES sound fun) I have Saturday off from work, so I would like to try then if you are available. Let me know. And thanks for sharing your knowledge on a couple of topics. @thriwren Saturday would work out for me as well. Check above in this thread about Rangers in challenge mode, but be it with a Ranger or another toon, lets do try to get together for a crack at it. Challenge Mode seems like it would be VERY fun, but will require sharp teamwork. Encouraged that others have shown interest, post back with toon names and what time Sat you are free. @Anyone else that stumbled in: Please feel free to speak up and join in. More is better.

Any chance I could meet up with someone who has done this for a quick team-up? I am only 117 as of writing, making solo Ultimate Ep2 difficult in the extreme. Shoutbox and lobby shopping has yielded me zip so far, planting a flag here has seemed the best route.

Is the 50-hit Double Saber a drop or reward for these government quests?

Only now do I realize the purpose of this thread. I would like to also ask if any "TEAMS" are recruiting? There seem to be a few new players around and now would be a good time to grab a few recruits. Along with Parische I would like to toss my hat into the ring. There is a surprising amount of depth in this game, and info can be a tad hard to find, so to be able to lean on some vets for advice is a wonderful tool. Wanna get the most out of my PSO experience.

Howdy folks! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit of my limited experience on Ultima so far. I am an old Phantasy Star vet from the original Xbox. In fact when my old Xbox died, that was the game in it. Phantasy Star and Diablo II were what began my love for MMOs, which continue strongly to this day, and will always hold a special place in my heart. Before I discovered Ultima I would frequently yearn for another romp through TTF, to hear that opening theme song, to be a robot maid shooting laser guns, if only for a little while.... So imagine my delight in finding this server! After joining a couple of years ago, my PC died and I moved onto some of my console titles and then back to my standard MMOs. But one does not simply forget PSO and I have been playing the last week when time allows. And it is glorious. After a poor first impression trying a TTF run with were clearly children amusing themselves throwing around racial slurs in capital letters, I found a room labeled "New To Server" and popped in to say hi. What followed was pure gaming bliss that developed organically and reminded me of the many reasons I still love this game. Two others quickly joined and we were all a couple of levels within one another and we began happily chatting with one another as we cleared out the forest, and then the caves. When we got near the end of mines a we decided we should run a TTF. And it was good. And the gaming gods were pleased. Thank you to the goodly and dedicated folks keeping this game alive, be it from running the server, coding, or just logging in to bop some Boombas on the head. Ya'll will see me around. Thanks for the welcome gang! If you see my toons fumbling around and they don't say much, just know I'm getting back into the swing of things and relearning the keyboard controls. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but I didn't see a better alternative and tis forum seems active, so I thought I could get a quick answer here. I joined this server a coupe of years ago and was looking to get back into a bit of PSO, but alas I cannot remember my password for the game login. Are any admins on at the moment that could help yours truly? Or anyone got a way to reset my password myself? The registration page doesn't have a "forgot my password" option for in-game password. Thanks in advance for any help.
