  1. Just to update in case someone else is trying to play two players on the same computer it is possible. Thanks Lemon for pointing me in the right direction. My son and I logged on to two separate client windows on the same computer and played side by side with two controllers with the method described above....and then randomly joined Lemons Room!! It was a little tricky and I am not sure exactly how I did it, but it took me a few tries of unplugging and plugging in controllers until it worked perfectly.
  2. I know that this is an old post and the question has been answered in other threads, but I just wanted to reply in case anyone searched this and thought that it wasn't possible to play two people on the same computer. Thankfully, it is possible. If you have two people each with their own accounts, you can play on the same computer in side by side windows. Step 1. Plug in one controller and open first client instance and log on. Setp 2. Unplug controller 1 and plug in controller 2 and start second client. Step 3. Plug back in controller 1. It is a little wonky...I had to do it a couple of times before I got it to work, but my son and I played side by side yesterday and it was awesome! You could also use this method to switch items between characters or accounts.
  3. Awesome! Thanks for the info! I will look into it. Not sure I am savy enough to figure out how to launch a second client, but I appreciate that it is possible.
  4. Aloha All! I played 1000 hours on the dreamcast (and probably XBOX version) and for some reason I had a sudden wave of nostalgia come over me. I really wanted to share my fond memories of the PSO community with my 8 year old son. I was searching how to play with him and it seems like the only way to play co-op is to buy a gamecube and gamecube version of the game ($50) on ebay, but unfortunately you dont get to play the online version which is what really makes this game....the community. I just wanted to post about how happy I am to have found the Ultima community! My son and I logged on for the first time last night and just as I remember a Force user logged on and took him threw a run and introduced him to the magical world of PSO! Thanks so much Atsuko! Looking forward to enjoying this game again and this community. I would love to log on with him and play, but I guess I would need another computer....hummm....might be worth it! Brian
  5. Nevermind....I think I figured it out. After you register for the forum, you still have to register for an account on the server. I now have a guild number, so I will try to log on later when I get home.
  6. Aloha, After a 10 year hiatus I want to get back into the PSO world. I registered today and downloaded the client. Everything loaded up fine, but when I went to log in and try and start a game it said "invalid login" I tried chaning my screen name and passwork to have no capital letters and no symbols, but it still said "invalid login" and took me back to the title screen. I can obviously log into the forum/site fine, so is there some lag between login credentials between the site and the game server? Should I just wait and try later or does someone have another suggestion about what I am doing wrong? Thank you! Sincerely, Brian.
