So that's exactly what happened. Rappy desynchronization is very frequent, so that it's always up to the room leader to make sure the runaway rappy got hit on their screen. No matter if the other players still see the rappy alive or sleeping or running, their drop generation only depends on leader client side (as long as everyone is in the area). I'm sure you already witnessed RT Christmas presents on rappies that did not escape yet.
