I still see people ask which IDs drop Combat Booster (I thought the main post made it clear enough it was all) So making a more formal announcement about it: Combat Booster drops from Baranz (Episode II) on ALL IDs. It combines with L&K38 Combat +25 to make L&K40 Combat. It's the same weapon, but weaker (1-5 ATP, 12 ATA) and combo unlocked (5x3 shots). Don't expect something super strong, it's probably not going to break the meta or open up new horizons to Time attack. We introduced this weapon because it was a very recurrent and popular suggestion that a lot of people wanted to see in the past years. Credits to @Harvest for the skin.

NEW YEAR CARDS 2024 You get to know what the New Year Cards (NYC) do already so you can decide whether to farm them or not during this event. There will be 4 services. Just like past year, NYCs will get erased if you don't use them this year. You CANNOT redeem New Year Cards before Christmas Event ends, EXCEPT for the last service listed in this topic. LEVEL 200 MAG Want a mag that's technically impossible to make from regular feeding? Redeem 60 NYC to get a custom mag with the desired stats. When you ask a GM for it, make sure to specify: Mag name: no cell mag i.e only mags that you can feed without using additional items. Basically any mag listed here. Alright, I guess it's time to clarify everything with all the deserved transparency. I am going to say everything that Wilson did for us regarding these latest updates. I had to scroll up all the way up of my conversation with him to make sure of the exactitude of everything I'll be saying, so I sincerely hope it's the last time I get to hear about "Wilson's incredible and mysterious contribution to ultima for all these updates". On February of this year, Wilson messaged me in order to build a list of ideas that he would be sending to Larva afterwards. After the brainstorm, we came up with a list that included 9 different suggestions, among which "Increase bank meseta limit", "Balance E2 hit rate", "Patch slow Gibbles", "Nerfing happy hours" and a couple others. Now let's get into the two Ultima changes that Wilson pretends to deserve credits for. Hit attribute roll update: << Y’all are welcome >> Wilson mentionned the yellowboze hit rate% in our DM on February 3rd of 2023. And I told him I already suggested that on August 17 of 2021... @Smoochum can testify because we were talking a lot about it at that time. So was it his idea? No. Did he implement it? No. I edited everything that needed to be changed in the server file, and Soly uploaded it. Wilson only repeated to Larva what was already said. But shortened in 4 words. ("Balance E2 hit rate") Meseta major update Wilson mentionned one meseta change in our DM on February 3rd of 2023. And I told him I already made a huge post about it in the staff section on February, 1st of 2023... In this post I mentionned how even @Protoss asked about it before me. After that @Fyrewolf5 suggested to make a new quest, and that was the story plot I followed when I made the quest: SO, does Wilson deserve credits for it? First let's remind that the "Meseta major update" is a combination of 4 different updates. 1) Starting meseta in banks - Was it Wilson idea? No. - Did Wilson implement it? No. - Did Wilson help with that update in any mean? No. 2) Boosting all meseta drops - Wilson's idea? No. - Wilson implemented? No. - Wilson helped? No. 3) New quest to farm meseta on any difficulty - Wilson's idea? No. - Wilson made the quest? No. - Wilson helped? No. 4) Bank capacity - Wilson's idea? No. - Wilson implemented? Excuse me? I spent a lot of time to make that short quest (scripts, cameras, decoration, sounds, light effects, NPCs, easter eggs...) to make noobs able to farm meseta without actual gear. Some people can certainly testify how often they saw me on Qedit around March of this year (that was for this quest). As for Meseta Drops, editing ItemPT.json to change every single meseta entries minimum and maximum for each mob, for each box, for each difficulty, for each episode and for each section ID according to their old values (instead of straight replacing) would take so long that I had to make a script to artificially change them all. That's 26,840 different entries to edit. But you probably believe it was as simple as "add some zeros in this cell" and be done with it in 30 seconds? Even the solution of using a multiplier (like Happy Hours do) wouldn't work, because then rare monsters would give tens of thousands meseta while most regulars monsters would still give 3 digits meseta, making disparities way too big. Have you even thought about that? Of course not. The only things I didn't do in this update are the first two points: changing starting meseta and bank capacity (Thanks Soly for it by the way). How about you? Your only "contribution" in that update is asking Larva to change the bank capacity... which has already been suggested by countless members of this community. Shall we all thank you for spending 8 seconds of your time for this?

A couple changes have been applied so that players can acquire meseta more easily by their own means. STARTING MESETA New characters now start with 15,000 meseta in their inventory (instead of 300). New accounts now start with 50,000 meseta in the shared bank (instead of 0). BANK CAPACITY The limit of Meseta you can store in every bank was increased from 999,999 to 9,999,999. Inventory limit remains unchanged. MESETA DROPS All meseta drops values have been increased. This applies to every episode (I, II and IV). Their frequency is the same (which means meseta won't drop more often). Boxes Normal: +250 to +500 Hard: +500 to +1000 V.hard: +750 to +1500 Ultimate: +1000 to +2000 Enemies Normal: +300 to +600 Hard: +600 to +1200 V.hard: +900 to +1800 Ultimate: +1200 to +2400 Bosses Normal: +2000 Hard: +4000 V.hard: +6000 Ultimate: +8000 Example: Viridia Bartles used to drop between 90 and 110 meseta. They will now drop between 1290 and 2510 meseta. QUEST: THE VALUE OF MONEY 2 A new quest where everyone can farm meseta is available. It is located in Episode 1 > One Person > Special Meseta > The Value of Money 2 After you helped a couple by telling Gizel to stop wasting their money for weapons in The Value of Money, the latter would like to thank you for the savings you had them achieve. Quest reward is the same for all difficulties: 150,000 meseta. Please let me know if you find any bug or typo. This weapon can not combo." It can't be unlocked but you can combine it with Psycho black crystal (a Summer drop) to make it the most powerful male mechgun (that can combo) in the game.
