Sorry to revive a super old thread but I'm doing this quest right now, can't finish it. Did anyone figure it out...?

Guildcard: N/A ( I doubt that getting my guildcard number is completely necessary but if it's needed, I can edit this post and have it on here) Character Slot: 3 Date/Time: 1/6/2016, various times, CDT -5 Description: My client crashes repeatedly when I try to get a tekker to identify an item. Comments: The item in question is a Dagger ???? +5. I have tried to use various resolutions including using windowed mode so I can rule that out. I've done various troubleshooting things such as restarting my computer, disabling antiviruses, and nothing has worked so far. So, it turns out that it's not just me being affected by this bug. Others have crashed as a result of using the tekker.
