So I'm not sure what's happening but on the first mission with the first monsters I keep dying over and over. I can't seem to kill them. Almost feels like I'm killing rocks with paper. Is there a defend button or am I missing something? I don't remember this happening at all when I played on DC or any of the other PSO/PSU games. Also isn't there supposed to be weapon sounds? I don't seem to have any

I already had it running in Linux on a windows emulator. But I wiped the PSO files off my Win Pc and reinstalled. All good now, thanks though.

Ya I typed avg to see if it was a normal issue. Although I maybe should have added virus to the end and I would've gotten a tag. Thank you everyone! EDIT: So I tried to add the exception list and now it doesn't work at all, I'm assuming AVG decided it didn't care it was an exception and got rid of the files. Now I'm having issues uninstalling the program so I can install a fresh one. If this does it again I might have to wait till tomorrow to play the game on my Linux computer..

So I just installed PSO for the first time using the downloadedr from the website. After installing the game, AVG said there was several files from the Install that are viruses. Has anyone heard or seen this issue??

Hello everyone, I just found this server today and couldn't be happier I did!! PSO and PSU were some of my favourite games as I was growing up and I can't wait to play again!! I've been stuck playing PSP and PSP2 since they came out and just figured I'd give it a shot to see if a server had been made for PSO. I can't wait to see you all online!
