Trust me I understand your frustration all too well. I went through the same thing when I started playing 3.5 years ago on the Ultima servers. It took me almost a year before I had my first Dark Weapon and now I have 4.

It takes alot of time and patience. If I learned anything from the shenanigans I pulled on this server is getting worked up over the prices of the items will get you know where. As long as their are people willing to pay the high prices, you will have people trying to get top dollar. Also you need to remember how scarce a PGF is. This is the main reason Dark Weapons cost so much. The PGF is not as rare as the STA but still rare enough. Currently there is a high demand of people wanting dark weapons, but a very low supply of people selling them. Considering this factor will cause the price to jump and fluctuate depending on the buyer and the seller.
If you still have not gotten a DM by the christmas event I would be glad to assist you in hunting one.

This is not cool....guys and gals I wont be online too much over the next week or so...
