I would say yes. Meleeing is a more viable options in a lot of situations. Being that FOnewearl has the lowest ATP in the game it may seem odd to melee with her. Most of it would probably come down to demon weapons. I still think using demon weapons with her is important whether you're soloing or not. She can handle ep4 very well solo. She can solo a lot, but oftentimes you'll probably enjoy joining teams more. Purplenum is definitely a solid ID.

Godric's Cloak always. They should be no such thing as a "pure magic" FOmar build because the FOmar can max out atp, mst, ata, and luck at level 200 with the help of godric's cloak, and the main gear you would use on a "pure magic" FOmar would be stuff like psycho bridge and hylian shield. Which you would bring with you on any FOmar anyways oftentimes. As far as mother garb+ goes, saving TP doesn't really matter much because you're never gonna run out of fluids either way. The random tech boost for grants is nice, but if you think of the situations you will be using grants while focusing on magic you'll realize that the ATA boost from Godric's Cloak would be equally if not more effective. Dorphons, Goran Detenator, and Zus would all die quicker using demon weapons (like bringer's rifle which you want ATA for) than they would with just grants. As far as gear goes. Excalibur, 100 Souls, Master Sword, Ultima Reaper, Bringer's Rifle, Slicer Of Fanatic, Slicer Of Vengeance, Hell Raygun (with hit or Type/GU handgun with hell), Holy Ray, Girasole, Type/ME Mechguns (1 with charge and 1 with demon special), Psycho Bridge, Glide Divine, Rico's Parasol and Dark Bridge would be some of the first things that comes to mind. The FOmar does best with weapons that have high hit. Considering these are rare weapons, getting them with hit is very difficult. For shields you just want Red Ring and Hylian Shield. I could give you recommendations on what you could hunt for now, but I don't know your section ID or what section IDs you have available. Asteron Belt is pretty cheap even though you can only hunt it during Christmas. It's a weaker version of Ultima Reaper with less power and a worse special. Even Ultima Reaper isn't too expensive (around 10 pds without hit). Save up some pds and getting one of those would be beneficial.

With DAR that's a 1/214 chance.

Red handgun isn't too bad for it's power. There's an event drop called asteron striker which is stronger and has unreduced hell as a special (which is very useful). They sell for about 10 pds without hit. Vivienee is an excellent double saber for hucaseal. It drops from Pazuzus on very hard and ultimate difficulty with skyly. Hunt one with good stats and hit and it will likely become one of your main weapons for close range. Having a good sword is always important for a hunter. You can get a 25 hit dragon slayer by beating the government quest 1-3 on ultimate which is very easy. You could solo it. Skyly gets good swords by running caves in ultimate as well (red sword+chain sawd). Slicers are always nice. Rainbow baton is pretty easy to get. Get a magic stone irista from rare hildebears on ultimate with the help of your redria friend. Last swan and dual birds are both good on hucaseal imo (most people prefer last swan). You can get the from the black paper deal quest on normal with photon crystals (hunt them now while green names are on). You should also try to get v101 or heavenly/battle, smartlink (black paper deal quest), and v502. Arrest raygun is really nice for hucaseal if it has hit. At that point you should be pretty much set. Don't forget to feed your mag

It would be cool if there was at least a sort feature so when you're looking at games to join, you could look at ones with the difficulty you desire and even the episode. Sorting by whether they're locked or not etc. Cuz they're no point in looking through 20 locked games and ones where quests have already started, and I don't think this feature would split the community or anything like that.

I had a similar idea of like this. It would be a way of putting your weapons stats into a formula and calculating the price, because people ask for price checks all the time, and I pretty much have the same way of calculating how much a weapon is worth. It's hard to make a formula though cuz there's a lot of exceptions. And I thought about making an updated price guide, but prices fluctuate so much to where it would be a pain to keep up with. An example being POST which just sold for over 40 DTs I believe. During the event they were 40-50 pds. I saw one as low as 30 pds. The fact that prices can fluctuate that much is a problem. And trying to put a value on dark weapons where we've had people offer 250 dts is a pain as well. It gets even more insane trying to value unobtainable useful items like type/me mechguns and type/gu handgun or even weapons with more than 80 hit (which you use to be able to donate for), but I digress, in the end I think I'm just gonna stick to the way things are. I'll just answer people's price check questions as they come and not worry about the specifics.

I would pay to see this done. It would be nice if it had the top 5 or 10 times for each quest. Of course some quest aren't timed, so idk how that would work. It should also have which class they used listed. I don't think it would really feed egos. Think about it. The people who currently have the best times for a lot of quests you never hear in lobby bragging. I've never heard Sylph brag lol. The people who brag are the ones who THINK they're good. Then they will release they aren't good when they can't get their names on the leaderboard. For real though, there is no down side. It encourages veterans to do something other than AFK in lobbies. They get more rare items doing these time attacks, that goes into the economy and everyone wins. Additionally it will bring the community TOGETHER to do runs together to try to get better times. More people running will mean more people will be optimizing runs, and since runs are more optimized and more people are playing, more event drops happen which is better for the economy etc etc etc.

Oh. I've tried soloing it may times. I only beat it once I think. I've gotten to the last room a few times.

That's cool, but if it got a 50 percent grants boost, that would make dark bridge obsolete, and it's already not worth using based on the price anyways. Although if dark bridge got buffed in addition to the creation of this weapon, then that would be awesome. I like the idea though. We could definitely use more gi boost. It would add a nice dynamic to FO nuking.

The armor atp would be an armor that raises atp like D-Parts ver1.01, D-Parts ver2.10 or Sue's Coat. I like that plan you have for PR maxing. I'm not sure how my PRs will end up but I like having dark + hit for now.

I think everyone pretty much agrees that dark is a must have. I think it depends a lot which class. If you're a racast you might want Native more to deal with dorphon's easier, but if you're a hucast you may want A beast for gal griffon. I think all 4 attributes are nice, which is why i would prefer a pair of PRs and at least one of them having hit (for my hucast), but that's just my opinion.

I believe attributes have a small impact, but not much. You can see why based on the damage calculation formula [base ATP x (Shifta + 1.0)] + [Weapon ATP x (Weapon Attribute% + 1.0)] + (Grind x 2) + Armor ATP + Shield ATP = ATP Then you take that ATP number and plug it into this formula [ATP-DFP/5], then, depending on the attack type, it's either x.9 for standard, x1.89 for heavy, x3.32 for sacrificial special (like charge) Since yas only adds 40-80 atp, attributes have very little to scale off of. I may do some tests to see the actual damage differences at some point. It may be almost none, since damage rolls are involved anyways. And yes charge yas9000 is the best mechgun option for ramarl imo.
