Are there any effective strategies for leveling your mag? I end up just feeding it 3 items every time I happen to remember. Are there ways to do it faster? I see low level characters using powerful mags so they can equip stuff, I figured they used a mag from another char but I just wanted to know if there is some sort of routine that prioritizes leveling the mag?

Ha I awkwardly solo'd alot when I first joined the server a week ago, but you'll find that the community is so close-knit and these guys play it so much most of them will help you level and give you rare items and meseta just for the hell of it XD. My in-game name is Kyto, I'm a Hucast, if you ever want to quest I'm level 45 I think.

Wow, what a warm reception. Thanks to all. I've been having fun getting my bearings on the game again... Though it's a little hard to find "n00bs" near my level to play with XD

Hail everyone. I just downloaded the game a few minutes ago. It's awesome that this private server is allowing people to play PSO. I probably dumped 500+ hours into my gamecube version, but was never able to connect and play with others. Finally I may be able to do so. Hopefully this server will last indefinitely, as I'll probably want to play indefinitely! Anything less at this point would result in heartbreak My in-game name currently is Kyto. I'll probably be making another character soon, however. p.s. The download and install was incredibly convenient! I've recently downloaded plenty of big-name games like Flyff and Ragnarok and they were nothing but trouble. My regards to the people that put it together.
