ok can you record a video to prove it ( do it with HHH in seabed or tower with a hitless iron plz ) ? otherwise forbear to say anything if you don't know what you are talking about

it does need much hit in ep2 for sure and even in ep4/ep1 if you want to do hard/hard/hard without miss

equip unit that give ata bonus like god arms/heavenly arms/centurion arms, get also weapons with hit % and all force and hunter can equip smartlink and yeah it's very good since it boost your total ata in overcoming your base for all ranged weapons ( it's like virtual number, so you can't see the bonus it give in reality but it's around 30 to 40 i think, much depending on weapons/special etc..... )

Here's the gears you need to play a ranger efficiently ....( but still remember that much weapons is situationnal and should only be used in certains circonstances ) - as mechgun : Charge vulcan ( easy to find in shop or restless lion with hit ) Yasminkov 9000m with special charge/demons/spirit/berserk ( very usefull for the long range.... ) Dual bird/Psycho raven ( very good at low lv or on high DFP monsters if you have no zalure since those weapons has high atp base ( esp pr ) but charge stuff become better when you get higher atp ) Mille marteaux ( Divine Punishment special should only be used as ramarl/ramar and alone .... it's not good in multi for many reason : cause lag to others, stun monsters in the sequencial combos of hunter and make them get hit, cause huge damage cancel ) and guld milla ( special gush usefull on cast to recover HP and also do damage on falz when he's invincinble ) - as handgun : Heaven striker ( obviously the best handgun of the game, very powerfull with the special and very usefull to finish monsters quickly ), arrest/demons/hell raygun ( situationnal : demon better on human since unreduced in ult, hell usefull in ep2 stuff and arrest work better on cast but still work on human and can be used to paralyze stuff like dorphon, girta, mericarol, del lilly ( hardly ) dark gunner etc etc .... ), last swan/master raven ( more usefull on hunter ) heaven punisher ( divine punishment special only in case of no MM ), tension blaster ( special arrest wich is usefull ) red handgun ( only used for stunlock screens at vol opt 1 and kill them fast but it's better as hunter .... as ranger you probably got better options like sn/iron/dm machine ) - as rifle : Frozen shooter/snow queen ( probably the most usefull weapons as ranger, the effect of freeze only last 4 sec but lower evp wich is very usefull in ep2 then ) , bringer's rifle ( special demons and high ata very usefull in area like tower ) holy ray ( special arrest good for ramarl/ramar ), yasminkov 7000v with hell special, rianov 303nr-5 ( the weapon pierce and special dark is not that bad ) and hell/arrest/demon laser ( once again situationnal like raygun but with a longer range ) - as shot : Dark meteor ( best weapon on this server clearly and way way too OP, no need to coment on this lol ), baranz launcher ( very high damage once sphered with charge special but only 4 bullet ), iron faust ( racasal/racast only and very usefull weapon in area circle range all around you but clearly better full sphered, also special confuse monsters ), spread needle ( used mostly for the special seize to paralyze stuff and can also stun monsters ), power maser ( very situationnal..... used to get rid of rappy and scare them or stun zu in ep 4 and lilly in cave/tower etc ) LK38 combat ( if you get high hit on it, you can try the special burning on falz to hit him when he's invincinble ) and charge/berserk arms ( very powerfull and usefull with enough hit on it but really better with shifta and zalure ) but don't use demon/arrest or hell special on a simple arms...... it wouldn't be efficient since special on shot is reduced, use it on a srank instead because srank is always unreduced. - as for srank : srank needle ( needle is fast and can stunlock good but the range is low, special usefull : berserk/hell/arrest/zalure/demon and spirit ( on fleshies ) ), srank shot ( longer and spread range than needle but slower, special usefull : arrest/hell/demon/zalure/berserk ), srank rifle/handgun ( zalure mostly ), srank double saber ( berserk ), srank scythe ( hell ) but ultima reaper is more efficient. - also : cannon rouge, ultima reaper ( extremely usefull in ep4 to get rid of lizard/rappy ), excalibur, dalylight scar, twin blaze ( once again really usefull when you know how to use it : stop delbiter/dorphon/zu/dark bringer charge, detonate traps in advance at the right spot and stun monsters in certain case ), slicer of fanatic ( can be really good with hit and without demon needle ) - for armor : Dparts ver 1.01/2.10 ( usefull for their atp bonus but better at low lv ), lieutenant mantle ( fleshies only, trap vision integrated ) sacred cloth ( immunize against paralysis, usefull if you don't want to wear a cure/paralysis ) virus armor lafuteria ( fleshies only ) aura field ( fleshies only ) guard wave, electro frame ( cast only ) DF field, luminous field, brightness circle, black hound cuirass ( cast only ) kroes sweater ( womans only ) wedding dress, sonic team armor ( if you enough lucky to get it one day xD ) - shield : ranger wall untill lv 150 and red ring after......can also use stuff like from the depth and god shield kouryu for the good resist, resta/deband/shifta merge for ramarl/ramar. - units : heavenly battle/v101/centurion battle, heavenly arms/cenurion arms, heavenly HP ( always usefull in certain case ), heavenly resist/wizard resist, cent ability, adept, v501/v502 ( very usefull and not only for hell but also for arrest..... ) v801 ( ramarl/ramar to cast tech faster, usefull for vop opt 1 gizonde glitch ), cure confuse ( in case you wear ftd ), cure freeze, cure paralysis, cure shock , PB increase ( mostly time attack usage ) Also.... an efficient ranger is all about using special of the weapons efficiently ( aside of DM user that don't know how to change weapons...) so i would like to give some explanations for possibly help others : - Remember to use often frozen shooter/snow queens on dangerous, annoying, strong and high evp monsters to immobilise them and also reduce their evp. - charge/berserk/spirit : those are sacrificial attacks and use tp/hp/mesetas to inflict stronger damage than hard attack, charge is safer and the most used of them all, berserk is good to drop HP quickly in certain case like DF special usage or if you want to save mesetas, spirit is really good on ramarl/ramar but you need at least 2 or 3 adept to not use fluids all the time xD - hell : instant kill attack, activation of special is based on EDK of monsters and since EDK is low in ep2 you can use it to get rid of annoying stuff quickly like most of temple/spaceship/cca/seabed part ( avoid delbiter and deldepth in seabed and stuff like gie gue/gibbles/mericarol/merikus/merikle and obviously give it up in tower ) also don't forget to use it with v502, smartlink ( in case of hunter ) max ata base, ranger wall/rr and and a raygun/rifle with at least 40 or 50h or hell needle/shot and reaper. - devils/demons : these special attacks reduce the life of the enemy by a certain percentage towards their HP ( devils cut 50% , demon 75 % ), cast suffer from a reduction on the special in ultimate ( demons cut HP by 45% while devils is 25% ) so demons is always better on fleshies in ult.....use it to get rid of stuff like dorphon/dorphon eclair/girtablublu/goran detonator/baranz/belra ( in case they are boosted ), and most of monsters in tower area : delbiter/gibbles/gie gue/mericarol series/ill gills/del lilly/epsilon.....use megid/hell on reco instead, also the rate of special activation is 50% - arrest : extremely usefull special as rangers ..... this special can paralyze monsters and make them unable to attack ( not working on machine monsters ), the effect of paralysis last 6 sec and can be extended but doesn't reduce evp unlike freeze ....cast got a bonus of 30% on arrest activation in ult, so you can use a spread needle ( special seize ) to paralyze most of stuff in the game easily but as fleshies you should use a arrest srank needle because it's much more efficient ( the special arrest unreduced replace a bit the loss of the bonus of cast ), the special activation is based on ESP of monsters.... use arrest to deal easy with monsters .... especially dorphon/girta/astark/gorans/most of forest/cave/ruins monsters ( prefer FS on belra/dark bringer/dark gunner ) but in ep2 use freeze instead of arrest because most of monsters aren't easy to paralyze ( some are impossible ) but it work on del lilly/mericarol and ill gills ( after freeze ) - zalure : use it with srank weapons on monsters with high dfp ( mostly tower but also girtablublu/dorphon/belra ) and boss in case that you are alone as cast/ramar and without force. - gush : you can use it to recover your hp if you play cast and don't want to use mates, also can be used against falz when he's invincible ( with burning also ) Feel free to ask anything if you need advices...
