Hit Me With A Hit Event… Event! Hello Ultima! I will tell a tale for all: Once in a while there comes a special time to this server, one awaited by many. It last happened more than a year ago. Of course, I’m talking about the Hit Event. For those who don’t know, it is an event in which you add hit to weapons in exchange for Photon Drops. Simple. Elegant. Affordable. Grand. Now, the Game Moderator that usually took charge of this event is sadly no longer with us… She is incredibly missed by many. But that leaves us wondering, does that mean we won’t get to see another Hit Event because of that?... It has been 15 months and counting since our last one. Many of us are longing for another. I believe it would be very good for old and new players alike (me included of course), to once again get a chance to upgrade some of their gear. Someone should really take the torch! So players of Ultima, lets all show the Staff how much we would love to have a Hit Event soon! If you, like me, would enjoy having another Hit Event, please vote yes! And Staff, please take this into consideration, and if its not too much trouble, humor us with one ^^ I’m completely positive it would be greatly appreciated by everyone and it would have a good great impact on our community!

So, this thread actually has nothing to do with DAR then? We had 2 sta drop in this hh already, as well as other banners. The issue isn't with droprates or with dar or anything like that. The issue is people not actually hunting and only complaining. I just saw you sit in lobby for quite a lot of happy hour too instead of hunting. If you were actually out looking for the things, then you would be getting them to drop. You would only have to put in minimal effort for an ultima mag. Sta is obviously going to be one that people shouldn't remotely expect to get every year without putting in hard work, but I can guarantee it definitely doesn't drop in the lobby where you were people are spending their time. Any other drop if you actually went to hunt it, then you would get it to drop quite easily. I've seen almost nobody actually hunting asteron striker at all this event, as if people forgot it exists. Does that mean the rate is too hard because there are no banners? or is it because there are literally 0 rooms hunting it (even sta, I've seen far less rooms hunting for it than in previous years, since the first day before anyone had a chance to burn out)? That's an item where the rate has never really changed and nobody ever thought it was too hard. But it won't drop if you don't actually go look for it.

That's when you switch to Shared drops and hunt.

It's not a problem... The rate is meant to be hard lol. We've had some of our best players run POD a literal 800 times before being rewarded. If you go look at @under9000 his posts you'll see. STA nearly makes you invincible, so why would it be easy to get? This game in general is meant to be grind in general.

Maybe the complains are legit, because right now is a pain hunt something. It's just a shame watch 10 banners top in HH and make this game a grind fest when the trend in every game is actually the opposite, in my case is simple, ill stay until this event ends and if my effort is not awarded ill just join the leaving crowd. And btw I'm not bitching about the DAR this is my first post about it and my last one, the staff can do whatever they want, but the problem is there, bitching or not. And about the event, If are just PDs its okay but hunt more items with the anniversary event honestly I would pass.

As a I said its my opinion, feel free to share or not. The issue of STA has been discussed already in several posts (event drops with impossible rates such as PGF instead of making it permanents) so if I spend the whole event doing like crazy POD and I don't get anything, first it's my problem for stick to that single item instead of hunt the other ones, but the staff problem comes when im forced to do it if I want one of the core items without spending hundreds of bucks. And I'm not the only one in the same situation so the players get frustrated and then the drama begins.

I'm only stating this bcuz i was with larva before the event started and me, larva, and taxes (i believe it was taxes) was doing HOD 1 to test out DAR and we did the entire mission fast and only 3 reds dropped and he asked us questions because he was trying to fix the DAR and make it easier and balanced for everyones fairness but i feel as though besides STA the other drops aren't barely popping up at all but if most or some say they are getting 60% or more of the drops then i salute you!

sta rate has been lowered a lot, but thats not the issue, i got an sta too, but all the drops in general are shit

I've been getting drops maybe 60% of the time, which is exactly what it's supposed to be like for 4p dar. I think the bigger problem is tough drop rates. People will always be crying around this time and expect STA to be 1/50.

Have to agree. As annoying as it is doing a hundred TTF's and PoD's and not getting a drop (apart from 2 PD's!) if everyone got one it wouldn't be such a special armor. A few more HH would be nice though, maybe on the last day a super HH?!

I have been playing this game for many years. To damn long in fact. Time to turn in my Hunters License to Principle Tyrell and leave, farewell to all. I want to thank some individuals for playing with me, and listening to me and the fun memories I had here. These will be short for I could write a book but I am wanting to mention these people. @Fyrewolf5 Thank you for remembering who I was after not having been played in a long ass time xD it was always fun, and challenging for those tower runs hahaha (I suck ass at it). I also thank @mudkipzjm, @Zow, @Lemon, @PSOAddict for all of those runs that we have done as well as Jonas (I dont remember your forum account name). It has made my return to this server for the year a good experience. I had some rough times here and there but I was always able to log in and just play with you guys on this great game and have a fun time, it was appreciative. Thanks to @Togepichu, @thelionorion, @TripleR, and @Nana7 for being here for me during my hard times of life, I have greatly appreciated all the help and support that you have given me. I will always remember you for everything and have appreciated it all truly. Thanks to some other people who I have really enjoyed times with here @Nemuidesu, @Lola, @David S. This. I'm all for a hit event, but (1) I think it too close to 2 BIG events and (2) when everyone is bitching about DAR and boss drops and everything else why the hell should all y'all be rewarded?

Soooo what's up with this event? these few or more happy hours there isn't barely any drops from anything and if so then it's maybe 1-3 drops every happy hour and it's making everyone give up and just sit in lobby during happy hour... and i been hunting and only got 1 sta, 1 tyrfing, and 1 sonic magazine RIP. Also, i been looking and still havent found an Ultima Mag lol P.S. I'm not complaining for myself but i'm just doing this by what others have told me or have said in lobby and these drops are also trolling us with PD lol
