@Larva There is no negative reason behind this it’s just something for you to look into. But I’ve been needing gm assistance for 2 days now but haven’t got it. 9/10 @Fyrewolf5 is the only one that’s assist me. I know people have work outside game and I’m one of them. I’ve been on ultima since 2012 off and on and seen changes and improvements but still there could at least be a gm(s) for redeeming, quest assistance @Lemon was great with that, mini event, questioning, etc. purpose only. And @Cyane when she was playing was a good example for mini event role. Like I know @Soly do a lot of coding that’s his role I’m guessing, @kajex Excitement , @serverus is just serverus. But by just having 2 that really gets on often is hard to catch at times and I know trust is a big thing with people becoming gm so I know that’s in many thoughts as well. Like I said this is not for negativity but for reasoning mostly. Select future gms for specific roles or if they have specific roles limit there ablities to what they are assigned to. I know that can at least be possible from testing Nero’s server awhile ago. I don’t always want to rely on one gm for everything. You have a good team with the strength of saith and kajex but thats 2 out of the 100+ that’s plays. Your thoughts and reasons are worth hearing

42 hod2 runs.. more half in hh INDIV DROPS 0 cloaks, 1 run shared drops 6 cloaks , if you dont see the problem idk how clear it can be.... not trying to hear all the luck mumbo jumbo, i have 15k hours played here dont take more then a few hours hunting to notice how broken (shady AF) indiv drops are, some one discord me one day when its fixed , later

Played on DC, GC, and then Blue Burst. I remember struggling to find hit materials and be anything but worthless when I finally reached ultimate even offline on DC. I guess the novelty kept me coming back. I remember how exciting it was to finally play online. I'd say GC felt like the golden age for a bit until dupes ran rampant and you had to choose whether you wanted to be "legit" or try to compete with the crazy items people had that would join your room. Still, there was some crazy compulsion and excitement to play in those days and -- not that it was healthy -- it was fun to see the first players on the server absolutely nolifing their way to level 200. I still remember this noobmar, The_Greatest, that I kinda kept up with for a short while before he blew past me in experience. I was happily throwing almost all my free time at the game back then as I met most of my best PSO friends there. I was that kid with the Japanese ASCII keyboard controller. Madness. I remember loving Episode II when I first played it and then hating how derivative Episode IV was. Things didn't seem more difficult, just more cheesy and cheap. I've always preferred being in the fray as a hunter, but range became a more important part of the game and thus rangers solidified their position as the most viable class (if it wasn't already). This server has a few broken items IMO, but it's an age-old problem of imbalance that would probably happen one way or another. I do like the increased maximum character stats here and obviously the exp buff as grinding this all over again would be ridiculous. Add in a nice community, event planning, custom quests, and a "happy hour" to reduce the woes of RNG and the positive changes far outweigh the negative changes. It's hard to have the ideal in terms of everything like community/economy/content/balance/gameplay, but Ultima has done a fantastic job overall.

Client - Enabled full dressing room, you now can edit your character proportions as well as the other options that are locked after the character is created, however you cannot change the character name or section ID this way. *You must update the game through the launcher to be able to use the full dressing room.

I haven't seen a single boss drop in 3 hh now. I wasted 180 minutesx3 and got 0 decent drops outside some mats even. These drop rates are just terrible now. Please fix it thanks! This shouldn't have to be so. I put a lot of hours into this game/server. These drop rates now are really going to mess things up for a lot of people. Its why so many are posting here about it.

Well, pso was never really a static game; there were multiple vanilla versions that were all vastly different. Dreamcast version1 is very different from Dreamcast version2, which is very different from Gamecube/Xbox, which is very different from Blue Burst. That being said, I think Ultima has done a good job of adding content while keeping the core gameplay mechanics and design principles the same. I've added a lot of stuff to the game, but I always consider where and how they should fit in to the overall framework in a way that meshes with the original design principles. There's not just micro levels to consider like how a new rifle should compare to other rifles or handguns, but how all rifles in general compare to all handguns, how slicers compare to arms compare to partisans compare to swords. There is a framework for how everything fits together, and recognizing those patterns is crucial to finding places to add new content that meshes with the game instead of breaks the game.

Hey all. Not dead, just not around. Need(ed) to take a break from things. Not just PSO, but lots of things. Sorry for disappearing though

It's been awhile since I played PSO on another server, though I used to play during the Gamecube days. Those were good times. I even own Episode 3. Anyways, I'm "Zachski", though just call me Zach. I prefer Forces and using Techs over Hunters or Rangers and slashing or shooting everything, though I still do sometimes want to play a Hunter or a Ranger. Depends on my mood, really. I'm a bit shy, voice-wise, but as I get used to the people here I'll probably be able to come out of my shell a bit. When it comes to what I like to discuss - I like talking about pretty much anything regarding video games or tv shows I'm interested in. That being said, I often play games to get away from politics, so if a political discussion pops up, don't mind me if I decide to jump into a solo room instead of sticking around. No offense is intended, I just like to minimize my stress levels, and this compromise works out the best for everyone involved. Looking forward to enjoying this game with all of you

I heard if you go to Seek my Master and bring a Sange, Yasha and Kamui with you and use each of those weapons within the rooms where Great Sword Zoke dropped his versions of them, and if you do you are rewarded with Book of Katana 1, 2 and 3 respectively, which if you take to the special tekker on pioneer2 that only shows up on thursdays between 7 and 930pm, he will correctly identify the Sealed J-Sword as the legendary Tsumikiri J-Sword, but he can't do more than that. You have to take it to the head of the secret 'Weapons' society that shows up in a few quests; let them examine it and they will actually unseal the sword for you. Equip the Tsumikiri J-Sword and use all techniques on dark falz and olga flow and then kill them with the special. Then Red Ring Rico and Heathcliff Flowen will show up after each fight and drop you the High Level Mag Armor Uru and the High Level Mag Armor Eno. Also you have to go fight Kireek in From the Depths using the special too, and he drops the D-Photon Core from his body when you defeat him. You have to take those into the Soul of Steel quest and use them to calm Elenor's baby mag whenever it starts moving. If you use them in the right order (uru>eno>d-core), then you get the super special secret ending to that quest which allows her mag to reach its full potential as the Elnoa. She'll also give you one as a gift, which will unlock a special cutscene where Cloud manages to stop Sephiroth from killing Aeris and you get to keep her in your party for the rest of the game. Also that hidden Chao in Fake in Yellow has nothing to do with Branch of PakuPaku (which is used on the secret chao in ttf instead), but if you had a completed Sonic Adventure file on your dreamcast vmu, then when you talk to the fake in yellow chao he gives you the sonic and tails mags, which have a 100% chance to proc invincibility whenever you take a hit or block an attack at max hp.
