A new bug appears in Ultima, After the community talking about this new bug that has been seen @Soly begins looking for the origin of the bug, @kajex has the bug and is hiding it from Soly to entertain himself. Everyone starts trying to help Soly find the bug. @Fyrewolf5, complains that the bug is not as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be and they should stop looking for it, many people agree with Fyrewolf, and the community becomes divided into dueling factions. @Protoss bans Fyrewolf to entertain himself, chaos ensues, and no one can find @Larva to solve it all. @serverus and @Lemon devise a plan to stop the riots that have taken over Ultima and just when things seem hopeless, all the pieces fall together and Lemon and Serverus have everyone together. Meanwhile with all the intense crazy things going on Kajex had lost track of the new bug, which now shows itself for everyone to see, Larva had hatched into the bug.

Start: It's the first day of the #FuckMud2017 campaign. All of the little people have gathered to protest against their biggest fear, Mudkipzjm, in an effort to get him deported from Ultima America. Middle: The campaign is going rough, the little people have all but given up on the campaign to get Mudkipzjm deported from Ultima America and the tensions between teams as well as toxic players on the forums are rising. Who will stop this madness in Ultima America and save Mudkipzjm from his [ultima]te doom? End: The campaign has ended. The little people have either been scattered or banned permanently off the server and forums. Who banned them? Soly and Kajex. @griffeni got a haircut, @mudkipzjm got elected to #DontFuckMud2018 president and founder, @Auli'i got PMed a bunch of bull shit by @SelahIsASpot to marry her, and @Cyane wrote an actual manga series that wasn't as awful as this one. Also, Virec made an apology thread. Oh wait... Theme: #SaveMudFrom#FuckMud2017 I think the community will really band together under this idea.

One day on Ultima server all the dark weapons disappear! Before all the salty players get up in arms and leave the server, they receive a message "The team that completes the mission, will receive all the dw". An array of quests, challenge, and battle events are strung together all with unique and new objectives. Now the players of Ultima will muster up all their skill and strength to be the best team and win back the dark weapons! End: Only the strongest of Ragol's Hunters, Rangers, and Forces persevered up to this point! But with all these new and exciting events with the goal of returning dw, the players have rekindled their love and spirit for the game! With a refreshed feeling for the game, the climax leaves us with the question: do we return the dw or not...

Disclaimer: This guide is still a work in progress. It is quick and dirty writeup for those who do not know how to do this, partly compiled from memory of a now unavailable guide, as well as much testing today. It will be updated with more detailed information and pictures in the future, I just wanted to get this out there for now so people have an idea of how it works. So you want to try and work towards getting a beach laughter type weapon? Are you really willing to subject yourself to this much work? If you are the masochistic type, then here is the method for doing so. There are 4 relevant quests. AOL CUP -Sunset Base- (ep 1, event), Maximum Attack 1 ver 2 (ep 1, event), Maximum Attack 2 ver 2 (ep 2, vr), and Beach Laughter (ep 2, event). Sunset Base must be done with ONLY ONE player in the room, or the quest will crash. 1. Sunset Base - Obtain Cell of Mag 502 reward (on Hard difficulty, cannot do Normal). Since there is already a guide on how to do this, read here for a walkthrough of the Sunset Base quest with pictures http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/topic/2576-how-to-obtain-cell-of-mag-502/ or use the mini-guide below step 2. 2. Sunset Base - Speak to the Delsaber in Ruins. After you give the pretty butterfly to the rappy in the final room of forest 2, the warp in the previous room will be available (the rappy will move off the warp). The warp will lead to a small room with boxes and a warp to ruins. The delsaber is behind the waterfall. Sunset Base Mini Guide 3. Complete Max Attack 1 ver 2 (under event) with other players of all character classes. Everyone who has completed step 1 will get a special cutscene at the end and receive "Hearts of 'Class'" of everyone (including themselves) who make it to that cutscene. I have managed to find some maps for the aol cup quest (an different version of ma1v2, which does not give the required hearts) here: http://www3.big.or.jp/~fujikko/pso/bb/map_edy1.html, as well as here http://pso.ffsky.cn/ep1xy3.htm and here http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5102. Notes: The weapon badges do not exist in this version of the quest, so some of the markings are unnecessary. The bridge in forest will go up when the timer hits 20 minutes which a 3rd/4th player can wait for (caves orange line). The center west alcove of forest has a warp to caves which a 2nd player can go to clear (caves blue line 2p map). The final room of forest has the standard warp to caves (caves red line). To clear all of caves, all three of these must be taken. There are several baranz in the mines and they like to spawn in each corner of the room so stay on guard. The mission will automatically end when all 587 monsters have been killed. 4. Complete Max Attack 2 ver 2 (under VR) with other players of all section ids. Everyone who completed step 2 will get a special cutscene at the end and receive "Hearts of 'ID'" of everyone (including themselves) who make it to that cutscene. I do not know of a full map for this quest, though there is a guide for the yahoo cup: maximum attack 2 on pso-world (a bastardized version of ma2v2 which does not give the required hearts and stops at cca instead of continuing into seabed and tower like ma2v2 does) http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=668 . The mission will end when all players reach the computer at the top of tower. 5. Beach Laughter - Inspire the Rappy's Song, and claim your reward. You can check which Hearts you have already obtained by talking to this rappy: This rappy by the beach is looking to write a new song and needs your help getting inspiration for it: He will ask for lyrics for his next song. Normally, you would have to speak to the talking rock to find out what the correct lyrics are, however this is not necessary if you know the correct answers, and it will only tell you 1 of the 4 answers anyway (you are supposed to ask other players for other answers). Instead, simply choose the correct answers listed here: "On the hill" "Through my body is" "I feel envious" "But" After you tell him these lyrics, you will see a short music videos of the rappy's singing. After the video is finished you can go to this rappy to receive your choice of Type Weapon and a Blue Ring: Rewards: Types marked with * are obtainable in Beak's Cafe much, much easier, in about 15-20 minutes. Do not waste your Beach Laughter rewards on these. Type weapons often mix different weapon models and attack animations. The first two initials say which Attack Animation it uses, the full word says which Weapon Model it uses, and is also often related to which classes can equip (e.g. Type RO/Halbert uses Rod Attack Animations and a Halbert model, usable by hunters and rangers. Type HA/Rod uses Halbert Attack Animations and a Rod model, usable by forces). All Slicers are Melee Weapons and do not throw a ranged blade of any kind. Hunter Ranger Force

That's because the level 35 evolution does not care what class it is currently on, instead it looks at what class fed it to level 10, so it will go to Mitra because you raised it to its first evolution on a Ranger. The level 50 evolution does look at the current class though.

Ok, as you all likely saw with my status I am working on a little side thought with the new mods.ini and skinning. This is a work in progress plan HOWEVER. I'll say right now I am not exactly that good of a skinner (as in ART isn't my forte but recoloring things and customizing things out of multiple is what I do). with what the new mods.ini shows and allows I am thinking I might work on making sets of themed packs for downloads.. HOWEVER as the mods.ini gets better and more files get spared from the replaceing of them I'm going to give one warning as I start with these little projects. BACK UP THE FILES!! The only ones my packs I put up on the web that will be needed as a copy will be noted tell the time they are spared then it will just be drag and drop. NOTE I only plan to work on packs that include the HUD, the title/start screen, The char selection screen, and the sounds for the HUD files. This don't mean I wont likely make add-ons for them to use skins based off those (like reskin the classes with the hud to match a game or fit a theme) but again those are likely going to be optional. and I will NEVER touch the effects as those are to random for me to deal with in every pack I compile together.

I couldn't even if the custom hotkeys werent around make a totally invisible hud. as for the one with the want for a hud whos top icon is gone. I can do so but I'd have to work with huds I get my hands on as is. if you can tell me the kind of style you wish for it to have as a base I can look into making one. I been very busy with work and the packs as the site where I get my base files to make these packs is issuing me some hassles. However most of the skins I run I take that top button off as it distracts me a fair bit.. Tho I might take a while as I have a goal one I am working on but art isn't my strong suit so I'm having to ask a friend to help me.. when its done I will show and it wont have the upper one again (my perfered style is without it, but making an icon of a light to go off when you can use the button to donate to it). Tho I do often work with what I can and color match them as best I can given my tools I have (I am NOT gonna shell out for photoshop when I can use something that is free).. add to that my goal will take me far longer then I want yet as I litterally with one the files I plan to use need to edit litterally every sound file I can to compress the sounds size into the .pac file. heck might even work on a title and all the full on ui elements as I can (the minimap is gonna be the largest pain for it)... I'll leave a little spoiler here.. oh and with HD systems seeing I can't test such things I'd have to try to see if it scales right prior to saying if it can or not as I don't use the hud in HD mode
