Title: Easter Event 2012

Easter is Here in Ultima a colored month full of fun and joy.


During the entire month we will have some cool stuff to all, we will include two mini events

Egg Rappy, will be dropping the Ashura Mag Cell, Comander Blade, and One NEW in Ultima Server Collection item,

GAME MAGAZINE


And MoRE... Olga Flow will be dropping KROE'S Sweater and also, after almost 3 years Samurai Armor.


The two mini events... serverus will be hosting one and and chuk another, each mini event has relevant between them. Once serverus and chuk are ready we will post the details.



And one more thing... each Sunday of April server will be giving Exp x5.

All this start April 5th and the events ends April 30.

Title: New Experience System

Well since today the server is using a new experience system. so please don't freak out. hope you people like this. if anyone has any question just post it here.

Choko give me the idea of using a table based on the level of the character to use diferent experiense system.

credit for the code of this are for Choko he did the code of this table.

and this is how it works.

characters from level 1 to 160will use exp x3, characters from level 160 to 200 will use exp x2 . (but this table will be overide if a event of experinse such EXP x5 is on the moment)

Choko me dio la idea de usar una tabla basada en el nivel de los personajes para usar un systema de experiencia diferente

los creditos the este codigo son para Choko el hizo el codigo para esta tabla.

Y asi es como funciona.

personajes de nivel 1 a 100 usaran experiencia x3, personajes de nivel 160 a 200 usaran experencia x2 (pero esta tabla sera anulada si un evento de experiencia x5 esta en el momento)

Title: Details about Happy Hours

Ok many users have been wondering what happened to happy hours. Well here we will discuss the fate of HH.

Ok first of all we 'll have a poll that lets users vote for the future of this feature (happy hours).
Ultima server needs to cut off the redundancy of happy hours(HH). HH along with other factors, has brought the economy of the game to a really bad level. It's true that there are other causes affecting the economy (like donations, but they are needed). HH affects this more directly, because we dont receive donations every week. On the other hand HH has been going on two times a week during probably more than a year. Therefore we needed to come up with something to compromise. I know most of the users likes HH and that's understandable, so we will vote for the feature of HH. This being said, we come up with following options ( and users will vote for them) .
  • 1.-No more HH ever (self explanatory)

  • 2.-HH will occur at random times & Major Events (random time = no previous warning, no announcement, it might take up to 2 months for HH to show up.)

  • 3.- HH will be turned on once a month (not on weekends) (for example : third Wednesday of each month))

  • 4.-HH will just be used to support major events. (seasonal events like the anniversary of the server, December, Halloween, BUT NO MINI EVENT.)

Ok muchos usuarios se han estado preguntado que ha sucedido con Happy Hours (HH). Vamos a llegar a un acuerdo en que sucederá con HH.

Bueno primero que nada pondremos a votación el futuro de HH. Ultima server necesita cortar el uso
continuo de HH. Los hechos son que HH y otros factores más, han desbalanceado la economía de Ultima. Un factor más a esto pudiera ser las donaciones. Pero las donaciones son algo que necesitamos para sobrevivir. Y las donaciones no afectan tanto como HH. Por ejemplo HH ocurría 2 veces a la semana durante ya más de un año. Y las donaciones no recibimos 2 a la semana. Así que por este motivo hemos llegado con unas opciones a discutir. pondremos aqui las siguientes opciones por las cuales podrán votar y pueden sentirse libres de dar su opinión ya sea en inglés o español.
Aqui todos contamos.
  • 1.-HH llega su fin para siempre.

  • 2.-HH ocurrirá en momentos aleatorios & Eventos Mayores. (esto no se anunciará, no habrá notificación previa, solo se efectuará en un momento aleatorio, y puede llegar a tomar hasta 2 meses para que se presente)

  • 3.- HH será usado una sola vez al mes. (tercer miércoles de cada mes)

  • 4.-HH solo será usado para dar soporte a eventos mayores. (aniversario,navidad,halloween, NO MINI EVENTOS).

Well first of all i would like to thanks chuk, and give all the credits of this tool he wrote it and well is here thanks to him.



The control Panel of PSO Ultima


now to the point. well you guys may wonder what is this thing, well is just a little web interfase with some features for your account
of the game. it include so far.
  • change password
  • send email to recover password
features that are still in develop.

change slots of characters...
this tool is a creazy idea i have in mind and i have tested my self and it works fine, now it just need to be implemented in the
control panel (thats something chuk gonna handle xD).

well a little example. you have 4 characters slots right?

1.larva
2.tastar
3.bullet
4.shekills
--------------------------anything above this line wont be seen in game--------------------
5..oscarito
6.drago
7.eluser
8.another
9.etc etc


the control pannel will allow you to create more chacters in the same account and you just switch slots in the characters.
so anything after the forth slot wont be seen in the game but you can just log off from the game and access your control panel and switch
lets say the chracter in slot 9 to slot 3 so you can start playing with him.

well thats the idea. hope people like this new feature. at lease i already enjoy to send users to this control panel to change their password
instance of changing the password myself XDD.

Ahora al punto. Bueno chicos se preguntaran que es esto, bueno es sola una aplicacion web con algunas caracteristicas del juego
esto incluye

*Cambiar tu contraseña
*recuperacion de contraseña via mail

caracteristicas en desarollo

cambiar la ranura de tu personaje...
Esta herramienta es una idea loca tengo en mente y he provado yo mismo y funciona ahora necesita ser puesta en el panel de control (eso es algo de lo q chuk se encargara XD)

Bueno un pequeño ejemplo. tu tiene 4 ranuras verdad?


1.larva
2.tastar
3.bullet
4.shekills

----------------------------Nada acerca de esta linea se vera en el juego----------------------------

5.oscarito
6.drago
7.eluser
8.otro
9.etc etc

El panel de control te permitira crear mas personajes en la misma cuentay tu simplemente cambias las ranuras de los personajes.
Asi que cualquier cosa despues de la 4 ranura no se vera en el juego pero podras salir del juego accesar a tu panel de control y cambiar
Digamoslo asi el personaje de la ranura 9 ahora ve en la ranura 3 asi tu podras empesar a jugar con el

Bueno eso es la idea. Espero les guste esta nueva opcion. por lo menos yo ya disfrute mandando a los usuarios a este panel de control para que ellos mismo cambien sus contraseñas.
Ejemplo de cambiar mi contraseña yo mismo XDD
